Good to know

Pattern
Start with a magic loop.
1. *dc3tog, ch3*, repeat *-* 6 times. End with a slst in the first dc3tog. (6 dc3tog’s, 6 ch3-sp)
2. Slst in chsp, *(dc3tog, ch3, dc3tog) in chsp, ch3, skip dc3tog*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first dc3tog. (12 dc3tog’s, 12 ch3-sp)
3. Slst in chsp, *(dc3tog, ch3, dc3tog) in chsp, ch3, skip dc3tog*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first dc3tog. (24 dc3tog’s, 24 ch3-sp)
4. Slst in chsp, *dc3tog in chsp, ch3, skip dc3tog*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first dc3tog. (24 dc3tog’s, 24 ch3-sp)
5. Ch1, *1 sc in dc3tog, 2 sc in chsp*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in the first sc. (72 sc)

9. Slst to 3rd ch, *1 sc in chsp, ch5, skip sc*, repeat *-* around. End with a slst in 1st sc. (18 sc)

Cut yarn and secure ends.
Hanging
4 hanging-chains
Begin with 1 sc in any st.
*Ch75, 1 slst in each ch, working back along the chain. End with a slst in the sc you started in. Cut yarn.*
Count 21 sc to the left of the hanging-chain you just made, 1 sc in the 22nd sc.
Repeat *-*.
Count 21 sc to the left of the 2nd hanging-chain, 1 sc in the 22nd sc.
Repeat *-*.
Count 22 sc to the left of the 3rd hanging-chain, 1 sc in the 23rd sc.
Repeat *-*.
You now have 22 sc between the 4th hanging-chain and the first one you made. Secure the ends.
Joining the crochet hanging-chains together
1. 1 slst in the end of the 1st hanging-chain, ch1, 1 slst in the 2nd hanging-chain, ch1, 1 slst in the 3rd hanging-chain, ch1, 1 slst in the 4th hanging-chain, ch1. End with a slst in the first hanging-chain.
2. Ch3, 1 dc in 2nd slst, 1 dc in 3rd slst, 1 dc in 4th slst. End with a slst in 3rd ch of beg ch3.
3. Ch70, slst in the 15th ch from the hook, work back along the chain with a slst in each ch. End with a slst in the 3rd dc from previous round.
Cut yarn and secure ends.
