Yarn: 1 cake Scheepjes Whirl, 768 Sherbert Rainbow
Hook size: 3,5 mm Clover Amour
Size: 65*83 cm

Good to know

– Instructions between *-* is repeated the number of times specified or until the end.
– Ch 3 counts as first dc.
– The last dc is made in the 3rd ch from the initial ch3 on previous row.
– Instructions between (-) is made in the same ch/chsp.
– Turn your work after each row.

Pattern

Chain 164.

1. Begin in 4th ch from the hook. 1 dc in each ch. (161 dc)

2. Ch3, 9 dc, *sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in next st, sk 2 sts, 1 dc in next st*, rep *-* 10 times, 5 dc, sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in next st, sk 2 sts, 1 dc, sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in next st, sk 2 sts, 6 dc, rep *-* 10 times, 9 dc. Turn.

3. Ch3, 9 dc, *(2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 1 fpdc around the lonely dc, sk 2 sts*, rep *-* 9 times, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 6 dc, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 1 fpdc around the lonely dc, sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, 6 dc, rep *-* 9 times, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 10 dc. Turn.

4. Ch3, 9 dc, *(2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 1 bpdc around the lonely dc, sk 2 sts*, rep *-* 9 times, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 6 dc, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 1 bpdc around the lonely dc, sk 2 sts, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, 6 dc, rep *-* 9 times, (2 dc, ch1, 2 dc) in chsp, sk 2 sts, 10 dc. Turn.

Repeat row 3 and 4 until the blanket is the desired length, or as long as the yarn allows 😉 Mine measured 82 cm when I made the final 2 rows:

* 1 dc in each st and chsp. (161 dc)

* End with a row of slst, to make the edge a bit less stretchy.

Secure the ends and stretch lightly to make the post stitches fall into place. Finally block your blanket.
