Good to know
- Close each round with a slst in first st.
- First st on each round is made with chains; 1 sc – ch1, 1 hdc – ch2, 1 dc – ch3.
- Total number of stitches between () at the end of each round.
Abbreviations US
ch – chain
chsp – chain space
st – stitch
slst – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet
fpdc – front post double crochet
dc3tog – double crochet 3 together
BLO – back loops only
*-* – repeat around
(-) – stitches made in the same st/chsp
Pattern
1. 12 hdc in a magic ring. (12 hdc)
2. *1 dc, ch1*. (12 dc, 12 ch1-sp)
3. *(1 dc, ch1, 1 dc) in dc, 1 dc in ch1-sp*. (36 dc, 12 ch1-sp)
4. Slst in chsp, *dc3tog in chsp, ch2, skip 1 dc, fpdc around next st, ch2, skp 1 dc*. (12 dc3tog, 12 fpdc, 24 ch2-sp)
5. Ch2, *fpdc around dc3tog, ch2, fpdc around fpdc, ch2*. (24 fpdc, 48 ch2-sp)
6. Ch1, *1 sc in fpdc, 2 sc in chsp*. (72 sc)
7. BLO, 1 sc in each st around. (72 sc)
8. Ch1, *1 sc, ch4, skip 1 st*. (36 sc, 36 ch4-sp)
9. 2 slst in chsp, ch1, *1 sc in chsp, ch3*. (36 sc, 36 ch3-sp)
Cut yarn and secure ends.
