- The square is crocheted in rows, turn after each row.
- Total number of stitches between (), at the end of the row.
- Head, nose and ears are crocheted in spiral rounds, that means you don’t close the rounds with a slip stitch. Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn in a different color to keep track of where the rounds ends/begins.

Assembly
Pin the nose and ears where you want them, attach them and secure the ends. Pictures below for reference. Don’t forget to fill the nose before you close the opening. With the pink yarn embroider the nose. With the black yarn embroider the eyes.
Time to attach the head to the square. Place the head up-side-down and the nose facing you. Take one corner of the square and pin the it to the head, with the corner to the back of the head. See picture below. The white pins show you where I have sewn, and the red pin show the center of the head.
Finally cut two pieces of yarn, appr. 10-15 cm. These will be used to make the “paws” on the two corners on either side of the head. Tie a hard double-knot a bit in on the corner, wrap the yarn a couple of rounds around, pull tight and do another double-knot (make sure you place the knots on the backside). Secure the ends.
Now your little Mouse Lovey is finished and ready to be loved!
