Yarn: Scheepjes Catona in 4 colors
Hook-size: 3.0 mm Clover Amour
Size
: appr. 14 cm after blocking

Good to know
  •  Total number of stitches between (-) at the end of each round.
  •  Start each round with a standing stitch or replace with chains;  ch1 = 1 sc, ch2 = 1 hdc, ch3 = 1 dc.
  • Close each round with a slst in first st or with an invisible join.

Pattern

1. (Color 1). In a magic ring crochet 12 hdc. (12 hdc)

2. *dc3tog across 3 sts, ch6*. 
(4xdc3tog, 4xch6-sp)

3. (Color 2). Begin in a chsp.
*4 dc in chsp, (fpdc, ch5, fpdc) around dc3tog*.
(16 dc, 8 fpdc, 4xch5-sp)

4. (Color 3). Begin in first dc of four on a side.
*4 dc, fpdc around fpdc, (2 dc, ch3, 2 dc) in chsp, fpdc around fpdc*. 
(32 dc, 8 fpdc, 4xch3-sp)

5. *7 dc, 2 dc in ch3-sp, 1 fptr around fpdc before the corner on prev round, ch3, 1 fptr around fpdc after the corner on prev round, 2 dc in the same ch3-sp, 3 dc*. 
(56 dc, 8 fptr, 4xch3-sp)

6. (Color 2). Begin in a corner-chsp. 
*1 dc in corner-chsp, 1 frdc around both fptr on prev round, 1 dc in the same corner-chsp, skip 1 dc, 12 dc, skip 1 dc*. 
(56 dc, 4 fpdc)

7. (Color 1). Begin in fpdc.
*(2 tr, ch3, 2 tr) in fpdc, 1 tr, 12 dc, 1 tr*.
(48 dc, 24 tr, 4xch3-sp)

8. (Color 4). Begin in a corner-chsp. Crochet in BLO. 
*(2 sc, ch2, 2 sc), 18 sc*.
(88 sc, 4xch2-sp)

Cut yarn, secure ends. Block your square for the best result.
