Good to know
  • The first st of the round is made with standing stitches or with chains; 1 sc = ch1, 1 hdc = ch2, 1 dc = ch3.
  • Each round ends with a slst in first st, if nothing else is told.
  • Total number of stitches on the round between (-) at the end.
  • Starting dc3tog on a round is made with ch2, dc2tog.
  • Don’t worry if your work gets a little wobbly, it will be fine when you block it.

Xdc– crossing double crochet; skip 1 st, dc in next stitch, go back and do a dc in the skipped st.

Babyblanket

40. Color B. Begin in a corner-chsp. 2 crabst in corner-chsp, 1 crabst in each st around. 

Cut yarn and secure ends. I recommend you block your square to make the stitches fall in place and straighten it out.

Pillow

There are so many ways to make this square into a pillow. I choose to fold it according to the pictures below. Slst in the BLO along the ”sides”. If you want to be able to open you pillow and take out the pillow inside, leave one of folded sides open, put a button in the center and use one of the corner-chsp as a button-hole. If you rather just close it all around, just slst in the BLO until it’s all closed.
