Winter Blues scarf

Yarn: Drops Karisma (50 g = 100 m)
Amount: 3 skeins in color 68, 2 skeins in color 60, 1 skein in color 30
Hook-size: 
6.5 mm
Size:
appr 25*65 cm (without fringes)

Good to know
  • The pattern is crocheted in rows, that means you turn after each row. 
  • Ch3 in the beginning of the row counts as the first dc. 
Abbreviations US

ch – chain
st – stitch

dc – double crochet
bpdc – back post double crochet
fpdc – front post double crochet

rep – repeat

Pattern

With color 60, chain 50.

1. Begin in the third ch from the hook. 1 dc in each ch. Turn.
2. Ch3 (1st dc now and throughout), *2 bpdc, 2 fpdc*, rep *-* to final st, 1 dc in last st. Turn.
3. Ch3, *2 fpdc, 2 bpdc*, rep *-* to final st, 1 dc in last st. Turn.

Rep row 2 and 3, until you reach the desired length of you scarf.

Fringes

I made fringes with the leftovers of color 60. For each fringe I cut 5 pieces of yarn, appr. 10 centimeters long. Fold them in half and attach between the two first bpdc’s. I have 12 fringes on each side of the scarf.
